Healthcare Facilities Leveraging the Potential of Prefab in Healthcare Design

October 21 at 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

BSA (Boston Society for Architecture) presents Healthcare Facilities Leveraging the Potential of Prefab in Healthcare Design.
October 21, 2020 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
1.5 LU AIA credits available pending approval

Prefabrication in its many forms is helping to advance health care design and construction across the country, instilling innovation and improving efficiency, safety and sustainability. Join us to learn about a range of applications at leading national healthcare institutions. We’ll hear from six professionals ranging from CM’s to clients, designers to vendors, as well as Lean experts.

First, we’ll hear brief case studies of their particular projects spanning the range of different applications and technologies. Then our presenters will form a panel to explore the potential for this technology in advancing healthcare design and look hard at what is getting in the way of its widespread use (especially in the northeast). Nick Masci, of Haley and Aldrich will be our MC. Panelists will include Charlie Dunn of DPR in NC, Ryan Hullinger of NBBJ CA; Keith Swenson of ModularDesign+, and Tim King of DIRTT.
